The design
Monochrome Script pairs a near-black field with pale ivory and silver-gray botanical linework. The cherry blossoms read clearly against the dark background, their open petals and fine centers outlined with a light touch. A large branch follows the lower portion of the mat, balanced by a smaller sprig at the upper right.
The limited palette brings attention to the drawing itself: branching stems, slender leaf veins, small buds, and loose petals. Keeping that detail around the edges leaves a generous open area through the center.
Part of the Sakura Script Series: nine colorways of one cherry blossom composition.
