Our story
It started with Core.
Core was the first desk mat design we ever made. Fine contour lines gathered at opposing corners, with space left open through the center. That original composition became the beginning of SurfaceTheory.
Minimal Forest went on to become our all-time bestseller. Its deep green field and warm, gold-toned linework have earned a special place in our story.
One design. Different characters.
Color changes the way a design feels. Core, Core II and Core III belong to the same family: different palettes built around our original composition. You can explore their available colorways together in the Core Series.
The story keeps growing.
SurfaceTheory is an ongoing collection of designs for the space you make your own. New compositions and colors will join the studio, while Core will always be where it began.
