The design
Burgundy Script combines a deep wine-red background with pale champagne and rose-toned cherry blossom detail. The warm outlines stand clearly against the rich field, while the more subdued leaf tones add another layer to the palette. The central space stays open, giving the red its own presence.
A flowering branch enters from the lower left and extends across the bottom, moving from larger blooms into smaller flowers and buds. The upper-right sprig carries the same delicate linework, creating a balanced arrangement around the open background.
Part of the Sakura Script Series: nine colorways of one cherry blossom composition.
