Obsidian Fold uses near-black space to make its fine gold-toned contours feel deliberate. A subdued gray highlight traces the sweeping fold on the left, revealing a darker passage beneath. From farther away the design reads as a dark field; closer up, its curved linework gives the surface a second point of interest.

Core Fold develops the linework of our first design through a sweeping curved form. It is part of SurfaceTheory’s Core 100 Collection.
